Easy Four Ingredient Nutella Truffle

Nutella truffle

WE love any recipe with 5 ingredients or less so when we found this one, we were excited! And to top it off it is made with Nutella! The delicious hazelnut spread that everyone seems to love! This was a big hit with the folks and was just the right sized portion for our get together. You can coat the truffles with any holiday sprinkle: red, green and white for Christmas, orange white and black for Halloween or just cocoa powder. Come Spring time we are going to try this with pastel colored toppings or just red for Valentines. Oh maybe coconut shavings or nuts on some, too…endless choices! These should really be called year-round easy Nutella truffles!

Nutella Truffles
1 1/2 cups Nutella
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp real vanilla extract
Holiday colored sprinkles of your choice or cocoa powder

In a medium, microwave-safe, bowl add the Nutella and butter. Heat for 30 seconds or until butter is melted. Stir well to combine. Stir in vanilla. Nutella will turn clumpy. Stir until well combined. Let mixture cool at room temperature for about an hour. Scoop out with a teaspoon and roll into balls. Fill a small bowl with the topping of your choice. Roll balls in the topping so they’re covered. Place the rolls onto a plate and let them cool in the refrigerator for about an hour.
