Five bedrooms can accommodate up to fourteen guests, but larger parties can reserve neighboring Villa Amapas North for more space.
You’ll want to spend most of your stay on the terrace off the villa’s great room, which has ocean views, a heated infinity pool, plenty of chaise longues, a barbecue and a shaded outdoor dining area. For entertainment, there’s a bar, satellite television, sound system and Wi-Fi, and for convenience, the villa has a water purification system, air conditioning, ceiling fans and an elevator. Your stay at Villa Amapas South includes housekeeping and cook service for breakfast, dinner and happy hour.
The villa’s traditional tiled roof and terracotta-colored walls are matched on the inside by hacienda-inspired earth tones and tiled floors. The great room, which opens to the terrace via wide sliding glass doors, has a large, comfortable sectional and casual wicker armchairs at one end, and a dining area with seating for ten at the other. The fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar and welcoming vibe, with stone countertops, a large range and pretty tile backsplashes.
Each of the four main bedrooms at Villa Amapas South has an en-suite bathroom, ceiling fan, access to a terrace and ocean views. On the ground floor, the bedroom has a king bed, and on the second floor, the bedroom has two queen beds and air conditioning. The master bedroom on the third floor has a king bed and air conditioning, and on the fourth floor, you’ll find a bedroom with a queen bed, two single beds and air conditioning. The fifth bedroom is on the ground floor and has two single beds.
Thanks to the villa’s oceanfront location, it’s just a 10-minute walk to Conchas Chinas Beach and Los Muertos Beach. By car, it’s 6.4 km to Playa Camarones and about 10.3 km to Playa de Oro. If you’d like to take advantage of the Mexican sunshine to golf, it’s a 24 km drive to Nuevo Vallarta Golf Course and Mayan Palace Golf Course and an 28.4 km drive to Flamingos Golf Course. Take a stroll around downtown Puerto Vallarta, 10.3 km away, or the Vallarta Botanical Gardens, 21.6 km away. It’s just over 2 km from the villa to the nearest hospital, and 13.1 km to the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
